Is summer officially over? Greggs announces return of the Pumpkin Spice Latte TOMORROW – but clings onto the heat with a new iced version

Greggs has announced the return of its pumpkin spice latte – but in a summery twist, a new iced version will be available too.

For those already craving a taste of autumn, treat your senses to the spiced beverage at any Greggs UK store starting tomorrow, August 24, from £2.40.

But for those who refuse to let go of the last remnants of summer, the iced version is also available in selected stores with prices starting at £2.85.

The Pumpkin Spice Latte is made with a blend of freshly ground coffee, pumpkin spice flavour syrup and steamed milk – all topped with sweet, tasty cream and a sprinkle of spiced sugar.

The chilled option is made from the very same cosy, autumnal spices, but this time around poured over rocks of ice.

With temperatures having reached the mid-twenties in some parts of the UK this week, the iced alternative is the perfect refreshing drink to keep you cool.

It’s also one way to prepare you for the cool gusts of autumn as the summer season withers away next month.

And Greggs fans looking for sweet treats may also be tempted by other offerings on the seasonal menu, with a Hazelnut Mocha and a Hazelnut Hot Chocolate also up for grabs, with prices starting from £2.40.

The seasonal products are made using a heavenly addition of hazelnut-flavoured syrup, and finished with a dashing of chocolate powder on top.

All items in Greggs’ coffee range are made using Fairtrade Arabica and Robusta coffee beans from Peru, Colombia, and Tanzania, slow-roasted to create an extra-flavoursome brew.

The bakery also specialises in daily fresh shop-made sandwiches and pastries all baked fresh in their shop ovens throughout the day.

Healthier ranges are also available, which includes a selection of gluten-free, vegan-friendly and lower calorie products.

Don’t forget for every Pumpkin Spice Latte or tasty bite, you can now earn stamps and rewards through both walk-ins and Click + Collect purchases.
