An Aussie music and electronics store has sent shoppers into a spin after marking down a popular item to $5. 

JB Hi-Fi are selling an official $35 Ed Sheeran t-shirt for just $4.98 in a clearance sale – and most sizes have already sold out. 

One customer altered shoppers to the deal on the Markdown Addicts Australia Facebook page prompting members to rush to the store’s website.

The black shirts are going for $35 plus delivery on Sheeran’s official website and from other retailers. 

They don the same symbol seen on the cover of the British singing sensation’s fifth album ‘Equals’. 

Fans online were reeling from the special and said quickly snapped up the shirt to wear at Sheeran’s upcoming Australian concerts early next year.

‘Thank you! Bought it for his concert next year, outfit sorted!’ one woman said.

‘Got four, ready for the concert. Thanks,’ wrote another. 

‘On his website the shirts are $35… So we are saving $30,’ a third pointed out.
