Jennifer Lopez, 50, looks incredible as she flashes her toned abs

Jennifer Lopez flashed her rock hard abs as she practiced her choreography on Monday for her upcoming Super Bowl performance.

The Hustlers star, 50, proved she’s fitter than ever as she rolled her hips back and forth in a cropped Guess sports top and felt gym leggings in a new workout video.

Jennifer will be the co-headliner of the Halftime Show at the Super Bowl next February, alongside fellow superstar Shakira.

Her fiancé Alex Rodriguez, 44, posted the video of her rehearsal to his Instagram page.

He joked: ‘This is how I feel about Christmas shopping [love heart emoji]. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! [green love heart emoji].’

The actress looked incredible in the short clip, teaming her sports ensemble with hooped earrings and a light dash of make-up.

The star’s backing dancers could be seen in the background, practising their moves ahead of the big performance. 

The On The Floor hitmaker was announced as the co-headliner of the upcoming sporting event back in September. 

She previously said she can’t wait to get up on stage, because the prestigious event has been a ‘fantasy’ for her for several years. 

And it comes just as the icon is getting Oscar buzz for her role as hardened stripper Ramona in the film Hustlers, which she also produced.  

Speaking in to CBS Sunday Morning, she said: ‘It’s like winning the Oscar.

‘It’s the biggest show that there is. It has the biggest audience. You get to have like this big production. You don’t get to do that on tour. 

‘Everything’s like, budget-conscious and “You can do this and you can do that.”

‘It’s a different experience and I think it’s just like a fantasy for all musical artists to be able to play the Super Bowl and have like that 12 minutes of an amazing show. I don’t know. There’s just something exhilarating about it.’ 

Although she’s looking forward to getting up on stage, Jennifer admitted earlier this month that she had not had a chance to rehearse her performance.

Asked about her preparations, she laughed and said: ‘I don’t have that much time. We’re starting. We still have to develop it a little bit more.’

But the most important aspect of the show for Jennifer is to make it ‘fun’ for both herself and the audience.

She added: ‘For me, I’m obviously going to try to put together the best show that I can, but it’s also about having fun.

‘Just being up there, staying present in the moment and enjoying all of the wonderful things that are happening.’

And the actress is excited about sharing the stage with 42-year-old Shakira.

She explained: ‘There’s nobody like her so I know that the two of us together are going to bring that special brand of what we do and there will be people who haven’t even seen us perform who get to see something special that night.’
