Jennifer Lopez was the talk of the town in 2002 when Ben Affleck presented her with a large pink diamond engagement ring.
No one had really ever seen a ring like that before as it stood out with its six carats and pretty light pink color. It costs was a reported $1.2M.
The 50-year-old singer has since moved on many times – to Marc Anthony and then Alex Rodriguez, to whom she is now engaged. But the Hustlers actress still holds that rock in her heart it seems.

During an interview with Apple Music host Zane Lowe on Monday, the Jenny From The Block star said that she ‘loved getting’ the unusual ring.
Also on the call were singers Dua Lipa and Charli XCX.
The bit about the ring came up when Jenny was asked what she is doing in quarantine.

She said she was showing movies to her kids – she has twins Max and Emme, 12, with Anthony, and Alex has two daughters as well.
One of the films she had seen was 1968’s Funny Girl with her idol Barbra Streisand.
Then the Wedding Planner singer relayed a Babs story.
‘I met her [Streisand] at an Oscar party, years ago, and I was at the time engaged to Ben Affleck, and she’s really into diamonds, which I didn’t know,’ the On The Floor singer said.

‘He had given me a pink diamond, which got a lot of press and was whatever,’ she commented.
‘I loved getting it, don’t get me wrong,’ the Bronx native said, trying to be more positive.
‘So, she came up to me, and like, she’s heard of it. I’m like, “Oh My God.” And she’s like, “Can I see your ring?”

‘And she asked me about the ring, but then she asked me – and I thought it was so strange – about being famous, and how I handle it.’
She found it strange because Streisand is one of the most famous singers of her time and she not only has made some of the biggest hits, but she also crossed over to acting with the movies A Star Is Born and The Way We Were. Streisand has directed as well.
Jennifer and Ben never wed as they called off their engagement in 2004. He went on to marry Jennifer Garner in 2005; they had three children together and divorced in 2018.
In 2019 Lopez received a pretty nice diamond engagement ring from Alex too – it’s a large 15-carat, emerald-cut, colorless diamond that costs over $1 million.

She recently told Ellen DeGeneres their wedding was being held.
‘It did affect it a little bit but we will see what happens now. I really don’t know what’s going to happen now as far as dates. We’re in a holding pattern like the rest of the world. Again, we’re just going to wait and see how this whole thing is gonna pan out.’
Also in her Apple interview J-Lo also admitted she broke her diet by eating McDonald’s recently.
‘I haven’t had it in years and my son wanted to get some. I wanted the sundae, the apple pie, I don’t know when we’re going to go out again,’ the actress – whose next film is Marry Me with Owen Wilson – stated.
