Jose Mourinho left baffled by questions over Tottenham’s partnership with Dulux

Jose Mourinho left baffled by questions over Tottenham’s disastrous launch of their new paint sponsor – and their dog mascot – after Dulux mocked the club by joking about selling their empty trophy cabinet

Jose Mourinho was left baffled after being quizzed on Tottenham‘s new paint sponsor ahead of the north London side’s trip to Goodison Park in the Premier League.

Spurs proudly announced their partnership with the brand on Twitter on Thursday morning, only for Dulux’s official account to mock the club in a series of now-deleted tweets.

Among the gaffes included Dulux responding to a fan’s joke about storing paint cans in the club’s trophy room because Spurs ‘don’t seem to put anything else in there’.

Dulux responded soon after, posting a picture of an empty glass cabinet with the Spurs badge on, claiming the ‘unused trophy cabinet’ was ‘for sale’.

But when asked about the club’s new sponsor, a puzzled Mourinho simply responded ‘what is that’ ahead of his side’s clash with Everton this weekend.
