Actor Joshua Jackson and his wife Jodie Turner-Smith settled in to watch the penultimate Season 1 episode of Jackson’s Hulu series Little Fires Everywhere on Wednesday, and his wife was ‘livid.’
The 41-year-old actor took to Twitter on Wednesday night, as he and his 33-year-old wife sat down to watch the new episode, Picture Perfect.
The Fringe star revealed that, after the cold open, his wife was already ‘livid,’ adding, ‘Gonna be a long hour.’

Little Fires Everywhere is based on Celeste Ng’s novel, which follows a woman trying to get back the daughter she gave up for adoption.
Jackson portrays lawyer Bill Richardson, whose friends the McCullough’s (Geoff Stults and Rosemarie DeWitt) adopted the child, and who he is representing in the legal battle.
Shortly after the cold open, Jackson joked that he had to remind his wife that he is in fact not the character he is portraying.

Wife: Shortly after the cold open, Jackson joked that he had to remind his wife that he is in fact not the character he is portraying

Jackson later made a joke about his TV family, stating, ‘Why do all the Richardson’s pronounce ‘tartan’ as two words?’
He also tweeted about a ‘grilled cheese scene’ that, ‘got me fluffing pillows in the guest room….this isn’t gonna end well.’

The first season finale of Little Fires Everywhere airs on Hulu Wednesday, April 22, so it will be interesting to see how Turner-Smith reacts to the finale.
There is no indication yet if Hulu plans on picking up Little Fires Everywhere for a second season or not.
