‘He was very friendly and asked questions’: Singer Justin Bieber makes an Australian fan’s dream come true when she comes face-to-face with her idol on an Instagram Live chat

Canadian pop singer Justin Beiber has made one Australian fan’s dream come true this week when she came face-to-face with her Idol on Instagram Live.

Sarah Fantasia, from Adelaide, South Australia, was working at her brother Paul’s home improvement business on Thursday when she noticed the Forever singer had invited fans to join him for a chat.

Sarah told The Advertiser she’d been a ‘massive fan’ of his for years and it was an ‘awesome’ experience.

‘He was very friendly, asked questions about us and was interested in our businesses,’ she said.

‘It was nice to talk to him on that personal level. I’ve been a massive fan of his for years and I felt like I knew him already. It was awesome’.

In a video Sarah shared to Instagram of the amazing experience, Justin appears on a split-screen, rugged up against the cold in a blue hoodie and fur hat.

‘Oh my god. Hi,’ Sarah screamed in delights once she realised she is talking to her favourite singer.

Her brother then rab over to also greet the American pop superstar.

After a chat about where they work, Justin then gave the store located at Gepps Cross, GlimpseOz, a shout out to his 131 million followers.

It comes after Justin left his US fans disappointed last month when he announced on Instagram he was bumping all his scheduled Changes tour dates for this year over the coronavirus pandemic.

‘In light of the current public health crisis, and with the deepest concern for all those being affected, Justin Bieber will be postponing all currently scheduled 2020 dates for The Changes Tour,’ read a statement on his Instagram page.

‘While Justin – along with his band, dancers and crew – has been hard at work preparing an amazing show, he has always put the health and well-being of his fans first and foremost,’ the announcement continued.

‘Justin is anxiously awaiting the opportunity to get back out on the road and perform in a space that is safe for everyone,’ the statement continued.

‘He asks that fans hold on to their tickets, as they will be honoured as soon as the dates are rescheduled. Information on rescheduled dates will be forthcoming soon.’
