Kaia Gerber cuddles up with her cute foster puppy while thanking the rescue that put them together

Kaia Gerber was feeling grateful as she thanked the animal rescue that helped her find one of the adorable puppies she has been fostering amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The 18-year-old model posted a sweet photo of herself snuggling up with the fuzzy white puppy to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday.

So far, she hasn’t publicly revealed any of her foster puppies’ names.

Blissful: Kaia Gerber, 18, thanked the LaBelle Foundation in her Instagram Stories on Tuesday for pairing her up with her adorable foster puppy

Kaia showed off her newly lightened hair and hypnotizing brown eyes in the closeup picture, while the tiny dog burrowed into the back of her neck like a furry scarf.

‘I am so beyond grateful to @thelabellefoundation foundation for giving me a best friend and a cuddle buddy,’ she wrote.

‘They work extra hard to find homes for all of these amazing little furry friends. while payment in the form of puppy love helps, any donation makes a difference,’ she wrote, before encouraging her 5.5 million followers to donate to the foundation.

Kaia previously shared photos and videos in March of two gray and black puppies, which she said were brothers.

However, she hasn’t posted photos of those dogs in recent weeks, so they may have found a forever home.

When she isn’t cuddling up with puppies, Kaia has been engaging in some mild body modifications while self-quarantining with her friends Cara Delevingne, Ashley Benson, Margaret Qualley and Tommy Dorman.

Last week, the catwalk star admitted to Glamour that she’d gotten so desperate for a new tattoo that she gave herself one.

‘I’ve been struggling because one of my favorite pastimes was going and getting tattoos, and nobody’s been able to do that,’ she explained. ‘So, in the meantime, I gave myself a stick and poke, which I do not recommend.’

She didn’t try for anything too ambitious, though, and simply gave herself a single black dot.

Earlier this month, the daughter of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber also tried her hand at lightening her hair with an unorthodox DIY method involving a little hydrogen peroxide and heat.

‘I don’t know if I’d recommend this, but I just used hydrogen peroxide, a random DIY thing I saw online somewhere,’ she told Refinery29. ‘I literally put the straight peroxide on my hair and then dried it with a blowdryer — just to hit it with heat — and it definitely lightened my color a shade or two, just a subtle change.’
