Keir Starmer goes into Covid self-isolation until next Monday after coming into contact with an infected individual – but says he has ‘no symptoms’

Keir Starmer has gone into isolation after coming into contact with someone who tested positive for coronavirus.

The Labour leader revealed that he will be in quarantine until next Monday after being notified of the situation.

However, Sir Keir stressed he has no symptoms and would keep working from home. 

‘This morning I was notified that I must self isolate after coming into contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19,’ he tweeted. 

‘I have no symptoms and will be working from home until next Monday.’
