Khabib Nurmagomedov did not hold back on his analysis of Conor McGregor after the Irishman’s shock knockout loss to Dustin Poirier at UFC 257.
Poirier pulled off the greatest victory of his career by gaining revenge to losing to the Irishman seven years ago by pulling off a brilliant second-round knockout-victory at UFc Fight Island.
And unbeaten Russian Khabib, who has beaten both McGregor and Poirier in the last three years, was highly-critical of The Notorious’ preparation ahead of his first fight in a year.

‘This is what happened, when you change your team,’ Khabib said on Twitter.
‘Leave the sparring partners who made you a champion and sparring with little kids, far away from reality.’
McGregor leaves the arena after succumbing to a second-round knockout at UFC Fight Island
McGregor’s defeat represents a huge setback to his plans to regain his lightweight title.
The Irishman was hoping a victory over Poirier would set up a rematch with arch rival Khabib Nurmagomedov, having lost to the Dagestani in October 2018.
Saturday’s loss, which is McGregor’s first defeat by knockout, leaves questions over his championship prospects.
