Koln 1-2 Bayern Munich: Serge Gnabry stunner and Thomas Muller spot-kick keeps German Champions top of the Bundesliga after surviving late scare

Bayern Munich kept their place at the top of the Bundesliga on Saturday, with victory over Koln enough to stay ahead of Borussia Dortmund on goal-difference. 

The Bundesliga champions are on an eight-game win streak after immediately recovering their form after a shock 4-1 defeat to Hoffenheim last month. 

Koln were no pushover but Bayern led 2-0 at the break after a penalty from Thomas Muller and a stunning goal from Serge Gnabry, as the winger cut in and curling into the net.
