Newly-promoted Spanish side Huesca have signed Everton striker Sandro Ramirez on a free transfer.

Ramirez has signed a three-year contract with the club after a frustrating spell at Everton following his transfer from Malaga for £5.3million in 2017. 

The deal comes after Carlo Ancelotti allegedly told the 25-year-old that he would not feature for the Blues again as he looks to clear his £65,000-a-week salary is off the books.

Ramirez never settled at Everton, completing loan spells at Sevilla, Real Sociedad and Real Valladolid.   

Ramirez only managed to secure seven starts and eight appearances while playing under the former Everton boss  Ronald Koeman. 

Subsequently, he went on loan over the next three seasons but only managed to score four goals in 61 games.

Ramirez did, however, have a successful career at Barcelona – picking up won one Champions League; two Copa del Rey; two Leagues; a European Super Cup and two Club World Cups. 

Ramirez’s hope to recreate such form at Huesca and help them establish themselves in LaLiga following Everton intention to terminate his contract.
