Lana Del Rey posts a gorgeous selfie before she joins friends for another day of protesting with Black Lives Matter in LA

Lana Del Rey recently faced backlash after posting to Instagram from a Black Lives Matter protest.

But the six-time Grammy nominee is continuing to show her support, following the police killing of George Floyd in Minneapolis.

She posted a beautiful selfie Thursday to Instagram before she stepped out for another day of protesting with friends in Los Angeles.

The 34-year-old served a fresh beauty look with a black wingtip eyeliner while sporting a white thermal t-shirt.

She later posted a set of photos, including one snap of her friends, who appeared to be relaxing on someone’s porch.

Another showed the group of women wearing face masks on a street crowded with peaceful protesters, one holding a sign that read: ‘Racism is a pandemic.’

Lana posted some footage from the protest as helicopters could be heard above, also showing the back of the sign, that read: ‘Injustice anywhere is injustice everywhere.’

While many recently praised her for spending her Saturday protesting in Los Angeles, Kehlani urged the singer to remove an alarming Instagram video of looters from the platform.

‘It’s dangerous as f**k and a very poor choice of moments to post,’ the PopLyfe alum tweeted on Sunday. ‘By all means protest, but DO NOT endanger people with your very massive platform.’

The Summertime Sadness artist quickly deleted her initial footage of citizens looting and uploaded just a video of a man dressed in all black holding a sign that read: ‘No justice, no peace.’

Lana, who split from policeman beau Sean ‘Sticks’ Larkin in March, has been strongly advocating for justice after the murder of George Floyd by a cop.

Floyd died in police custody after Chauvin took his life by kneeling on his neck for nearly nine minutes.
