The Irish presenter, 34, took to Instagram to share a snap from her sunny getaway while her boyfriend Iain Stirling posted his hilarious attempt at the salmon, after the couple brought the most recent series to a close on Sunday.

It’s been a difficult few weeks for the couple, who were devastated by the death of their close friend Caroline Flack, who tragically took her own life earlier this month.

Laura was lauded for handling the death of Caroline heroically, as she paid tribute to her friend during the Love Island final ahead of a montage of her work hosting the show.
Iain – whose narrated Love Island since it began in 2015 – was also lauded for an emotional tribute to his friend when the show returned to the air last week after being pulled from air for several days.
After the final, Laura and Iain marked the end of series with winners Paige Turley and Finley Tapp, who were crowned champions of the show’s first ever winter series.
The blonde beauty shared a cheery snap with the winners as they toasted their success with cups of champagne.
