Lauren Goodger has hit back at trolls after it was claimed that her mystery Boxing Day hospitalisation was the result of a hangover.
Her chagrin comes days after she was admitted to hospital with a yet-unknown illness, which came just hours after she shared a post detailing her painful hangover – leaving fans claiming she was taken ill due to excessive drinking.
While she is yet to divulge the truth behind her illness, the former TOWIE star, 33, has shared a series of cryptic posts about mental illness and also referenced panic attacks, leading to speculation this was the cause of illness.

Lauren had appeared in good spirits and good health as she shared images from Christmas Day, which showed her having fun with her loved-ones.
However, things later went downhill when she shared a concerning message in which she claimed she ‘feels like I’m dying’, due to the ‘worst hangover’.
Shortly afterwards, she uploaded a snap from within an ambulance as she stated she was forced to call paramedics to her home.
Alongside the image, she penned: ‘Under a lot of stress lately, had paramedics at mine now on way to hospital.. really not good way lately… I need a break’ [sic]…

She also shared a clip of her knees trembling beneath a hospital blanket, with Lauren adding that she ‘can’t stop shaking’. Lauren was clearly worried for her health, she still managed to keep her fans updated with glamorous snaps from her hospital bed.
After being accused of her hospitalisation being down to a hangover, Lauren seemed keen to shirk any such belief with an impassioned post.
She wrote: ‘Just want to say thank you for the love and the DMs… I’ve took a few days out and when I’m ready to talk I’ll explain all…

‘For those who was saying I’ve gone to hospital for a hangover you need [to] seriously shut up and think before you type… Because I’ve had many hangovers and also panic attacks before…
‘If it wasn’t serious the paramedics wouldn’t of took me from home to hospital and it’s not often I ask for help… But anyway I do see the love and support and all I can say is I will turn this all into something to make you proud.’
She then shared a message reading: ‘Weird really cos you all care about mental health until your friend makes up excuses not to the leave the house or not go places of just drops off the radar, you’re all the first to s**g them off and make them feel s**t instead of asking if they are okay. Just weird to me’.

She had said she was suffering from some alarming symptoms after hosting Christmas at her house. The brunette then shared a post on Friday which read: ‘The mind and body are not separate. What affects one, affects the other’.
The day before, she had shared a series of snaps from her hospital bed, which showed her with a drip in her arm. Another snap of Lauren showed her hooked up to ECG leads as doctors monitored her condition.
