Filming for the fifth season of Riverdale picked back up last week after a weeklong closure due to some issues with COVID-19 testing in Vancouver, Canada, where The CW series is shot.

Production on the set had only just resumed in mid-September following a six month shutdown in the wake of the pandemic.

And on Saturday, leading lady Lili Reinhart got to enjoy a day off from shooting that included a casual walk with her dog Milo, with many of the colorful signs of autumn in full view.

Four-legged family members: Lili Reinhart, 24, took her beloved pet pooch Milo for a walk on a chilly autumn morning in Vancouver, Canada on Saturday

The actress, 24, bundled up for the brisk air in a plaid overcoat, a black t-shirt and faded blue jeans.

She also wore black leather boots and pulled her blonde tresses back into an elevated ponytail.

And in keeping with a safety first mentality amid the coronavirus crisis, the Ohio native donned a black protective mask as she strolled along the city streets with Milo by her side.

After dropping off Milo back at her home, Reinhart headed back out to do some fall shopping.

She could be seen in a short video on her Insta-Story pushing a cart with three pumpkins of various sizes and colors.

It read: ‘Somebody’s jazzed for fall’ across the top of the clip that showed the actress looking straight into the camera while dressed in that very same outfit.

Ramped-up testing after a surge in coronavirus cases created some issues for shows filming in Vancouver, like Riverdale, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The laboratory in question has since hired more technicians to boost the capacity of testing. As a result, Riverdale was able to safely resume production on the set.

Skeet Ulrich, who has played Jughead’s estranged father F. P. Jones, announced this past Thursday’s shoot was his last on the show.

He had revealed in February that he was leaving the show after filming the fifth season.
