Linda Perry and Sara Gilbert recently announced their separation after nearly six years of marriage.
And the 4 Non Blondes frontwoman made her first red carpet appearance Saturday as a single woman.
She rocked a grunge chic look in black as she arrived at the Hollywood Palladium for the Art of Elysium’s 13th Annual Heaven Gala.

The 54-year-old donned a pair of wrinkled black overalls, which featured striped brown straps.
She paired the look with a black t-shirt and a pair of black suede boots, featuring gold buckles.
Perry was decked out in gold jewelry, sporting her signature bowler top hat in grey, over a yellow and blue striped knit beanie.
She walked the red carpet with Suzi Gardner, Demetra Plakas, Donita Sparks and Jennifer Finch of L7.

The What’s Up? artist was also spotted with visual artist Beau Dunn at the charitable event.
The annual gala benefits the Art of Elysium’s support of artists working to better their communities through tailor-made programs.
Gilbert filed for legal separation from Perry last Friday, requesting no spousal support for either of them.

She listed the date of separation to be August 13, which was days after she left her CBS talk show The Talk to focus on her family.
Gilbert recorded her farewell episode earlier that month at the end of the season, where she was honored with a surprise appearance from Perry and daughter Sawyer Gilbert-Adler.
Perry said of her wife: ‘This is a true very inspiring human being here that is always trying to advance herself and everybody else around her.’
They were married in March of 2014, and they share four-year-old son Rhodes Emilio Gilbert Perry.
