Louise Redknapp shows off cryptic new Lover tattoo on her NECK

She recently admitting to ‘adoring’ ex-husband Jamie, two-years after the former couple officially ended their 19-year marriage.

And Louise Redknapp has alluded to a special someone with her latest tattoo – the single word Lover, inked on the back of her neck.

The 45-year old gave fans their first proper look at the design on Wednesday, three months sitting for it at Islington based studio The London Social. 

Tattooed in simple upper case lettering, the inking – partially concealed by the singer’s hair – gives no reference to who the singer might be referring to, if anyone. 

The tattoo mirrors a similar design on her inner wrist, the words I Love You written in a flowing, free hand script.  

Louise showed off the inking shortly after getting it done in July, and admitted the well-worn phrase held a special significance. 

She told The Sun: ‘I only got it two weeks ago and I love it. It helps me with stage fright and to feel empowered. I look down at my wrist every time I get nervous on stage and remember, “I’ve got this”.

‘It’s given me so much strength already, and didn’t even hurt that much.’ 

A regular visitor to The London Social, Louise also sat for another tattoo with resident body artist Miles Langford in August.  

In another post added to Langford’s Instagram page, the singer lies flat on one of the studio’s tables while he gets to work on her ribs. 

The new tattoo comes after Louise admitted she still has strong deelings for ex-husband Jamie, with whom she shares children Charlie, 15, and 11-year old Beau.   

She said: ‘I adore him and always will. Jamie was the absolute love of my life.

‘I guess I was happy to be invisible for a little while, but at the same time I felt I was becoming less and less of a person. And being less and less visible was kind of hard to take when I used to be a pop star.’
