The Love Island villa was left confused on Thursday’s episode after Shaughna Phillips admitted that she had feelings for Luke Mabbott.
The democratic services officer, 25, created an awkward love triangle on the show after she told friend Demi Jones that she also liked her love interest.
Demi, 21, didn’t take the news well and later cried in the Beach Hut: ‘I just feel like I don’t have much luck in here. I’ve just got to hope Luke does like me.

‘If Shaughna tells him this information then he might shut it down and come closer to me and it will solidify our connection.
‘At the same time, if Shaughna tells him that and he starts acting different about me and starts being like that to her, then again at least I know it wasn’t meant to be.’
And when Demi told her fellow Islanders about the love triangle, Siannise Fudge and Molly Smith were left confused over the revelation.

Siannise said: ‘I’m really confused about this Demi, this just feels a bit strange.
‘She has never once said anything about Luke M… whether he’s attractive, she likes him, she hasn’t said anything. I feel like this is so random.’
While Molly admitted later on in the show: ‘I just see you and Luke bouncing off each other, you get on so well.
