Love Island bombshell Finley Tapp failed to tell the football club he is signed to that he would be leaving the country to join the hit ITV2 programme.
The Oxford City defender, 20, didn’t warn the club he would be heading to South Africa for a potential six-week stint on the dating show, they confirmed in a tweet.
This comes as it was revealed by the Mirror that Finley’s ex-girlfriend who bares a striking resemblance to Siannisse Fudge, says she is ‘in a relationship’ on Facebook.

The club revealed that Finley is one of their contracted players, however they wished the footballer well and told him ‘good luck’ on social media.
The tweet read: ‘The club was not aware Finn Tapp was going on Love Island – this is normal protocol for all contestants. We understand and wish Finn luck on the show.’
The account, who described Finley as a ‘star young player’, later responded to one of their followers and said: ‘We can confirm that Finn is one of our contracted players.’
Finley only signed for the club last year however he seems to have already put his football dreams on hold in favour of pursuing a career as a reality star.

Charlotte is yet to update her relationship status on social media after her recent break-up from Finley, despite him marking his single status by joining the show.
An insider told the website: ‘They had a wonderful summer together and partied in Ibiza on holiday with friends. The break-up was very recent.’
The former couple are believed to have begun dating in 2018 and shared snaps from their luxury trip to Ibiza over the summer.
