Love Island’s Rebecca Gormley and Casa Amor’s Biggs put on a cosy display on night out after she revealed hopes to pursue romance

Rebecca Gormley sent tongues wagging as she partied with Casa Amor’s Biggs in Manchester on Tuesday, after revealing she had a crush on him.

The reality star, 21, and mechanic Biggs Chris, 27, put on a cosy display as they joined their Love Island‘s co-stars for dinner at Rosso restaurant before heading on to History Nightclub.

Rebecca took to Instagram to share a selfie with Biggs as they pair partied until the early hours with Callum Jones and Molly Smith, Jamie Clayton, Nas Majeed, Natalie Eva Zapico and Jordan Waobikeze.

The Miss Newcastle beauty previously confessed she wanted to go on a date with Biggs after leaving the villa shortly after Casa Amor with Jordan.

Asked if she regretted not getting to know the rest of the Casa Amor boys upon her exit, Rebecca confessed: ‘I wish I did chat to them all and find out more about everyone else – like Biggs.

‘I loved Biggs. He was mint. His personality is the kind of personality I would go for. I would definitely meet up with him.’

The brunette beauty insisted her romance with Jordan fizzled out but hoped they could remain friends.

She added: ‘I would say just a friendship. In the villa it got to a point where things went to a standstill and I didn’t see things progressing.

‘It wasn’t going anywhere. And I think if you want to be with someone things should be progressing every day, not at a standstill. It became a friendship rather than being in a romantic couple.’

But Biggs seemed to quash hopes of a romance after Rebecca’s confession as he told Cheltenham Betting Offers: ‘We briefly spoke, just like, “Hi, how are you doing?” I DM’d her on Instagram saying, “You did well, it’s a shame you didn’t get to stay in longer in the villa.” It was more like, “I hope you’re OK, you did well.”

‘But it’s more like a friendship I thing, I would say for now,  I just want to concentrate on myself.’

MailOnline has contacted Rebecca and Biggs for comment.

The show’s final took place on Sunday but the final lost a million viewers compared to series five with just 2.4m tuning in to watch Paige Turley and Finn Tapp win the first ever winter edition.

The series, hosted by Laura Whitmore, was marred with sadness as original host, Caroline Flack, sadly took her own life a fortnight ago.
