Macaulay Culkin joins American Horror Story’s 10th season alongside Kathy Bates and Sarah Paulson

On Wednesday, former child star Macaulay Culkin was cast in the 10th season of American Horror Story – premiering this fall on FX – which marks his first series regular TV role.

AHS co-creator Ryan Murphy announced the 39-year-old Golden Globe nominee had joined his rotating cast of players when he debuted a teaser depicting an overcast beach and Orville Peck’s 2019 song Dead of Night.

Thanks to roles in Uncle Buck, Home Alone, and My Girl – Mack made enough money (estimated $15-17M fortune) by the time he was 12 to never have to work again.

‘I enjoy acting. I enjoy being on set. I don’t enjoy a lot of the other things that come around it,’ Culkin explained to Esquire this month.

‘No matter how much I act like a curmudgeonly old man, it’s still fun to get back in the saddle once in a while and play around.’

Last year, the Bunny Ears podcaster portrayed a drunken tour boat operator in his buddy Seth Green’s directorial debut Changeland, and he guest-starred in Hulu’s Dollface and WWE’s The Edge and Christian Show.
