A father is raffling his four-bedroom house in Yorkshire – along with his Volvo SUV – for just £1, so he can move his family to Australia.
Dale Tate, from Wakefield, West Yorkshire, has been struggling to sell his home amid the coronavirus pandemic, and decided to take matters into his own hands by offering the modern detached home to raffle ticket buyers.
Along with the three-storey home, the winner would get legal fees and stamp duty, included, along with his 2017 Volvo XC90 Hybrid with a full valet and a years car insurance.
Dale hopes to move his wife and four children down under once the deal is complete.

Writing on raffall.com, Dale described it as the ‘chance of a lifetime’, and said: ‘People haven’t got anything to lose really, it’s only £1.
‘Your odds of winning the lottery are about 45 million to one, but this is 400,000 to one if you spend £1.
‘If all the tickets sell, then somebody has to win it. It will make somebody’s day that’s for sure.’
