Mandy Moore gushes over husband Taylor Goldsmith in celebration of his 35th birthday

Mandy Moore is celebrating her husband, Taylor Goldsmith, on his 35th birthday. 

The This Is Us star, 36, shared a number of heartfelt Instagram messages on Sunday, along with a series of photos chronicling their relationship, careers and childhoods throughout the years.        

‘I’m not sure what I did in a past life to deserve you but it must have been something big. You are undeniable,’ she began in the caption of a six-picture post that started with a black-and-white image of Goldsmith decked out in a suit on their wedding day.

‘Your inherent light, humility, grace, humor, and compassion are contagious and I feel lucky to get the chance to bask in your goodness with outstretched arms,’ she gushed about the singer-songwriter. 

‘Thank you for trusting me with your heart. Thank you for being the best travel companion, crossword puzzler, songwriting partner, pet parent, and my favorite person.’

She ended by adding: ‘2020 has certainly been a wild ride but I really can’t wait for what this next year will bring. Happy Birthday, T. I love you more than anything.’

Moore also shared duplicates of many of the initial photos, but added some loving sentiments in each of the headlines.  

‘It’s my favorite person’s bday today…. And I’m very grateful he was born…. ‘ she captioned that first image of him in his wedding suit.

There’s another black and white of the couple posing together on their wedding day, on November 18, 2018, that read: ‘Happy birthday, T. Can’t believe this is only our 5th one together. Cheers to decades more! ! !’

‘Can grow a beard like no one…..’ was written across a picture of her husband rocking out on stage with his folk-rock band, Dawes.

The New Hampshire native also gave praise to him for being ‘the best pet dad,’ in a photo of their cat.

In an adorable blast from the past she declared him, ‘The cutest kid ever,’in the headline of a photo of her then blonde-haired husband when he was a toddler, along with two other posts of him as a child.

And in a fun and cheeky move, she wrote: ‘He’s a descent musician,’ across a snap of Goldsmith playing guitar in a recording studio along with a wink emoji.

Feeling nostalgic, Moore took to social media several hours later and posted a clip of  the video for her debut single Candy, that was released on August 17, 1999.

’21 years ago….don’t you miss it, too? ‘ she wrote in the caption.

Candy was also the second track on her debut studio album, So Real, that dropped later that year on December 7.  

Goldsmith, a Los Angeles native, serves as the lead singer, guitarist, and chief songwriter for his band, Dawes. 

The couple got engaged in September 2017 and tied the knot over a year later in November 2018
