Arsenal should have been down to 10 men from the fifth minute and I’m amazed VAR Andre Marriner did not recommend to referee Lee Mason that David Luiz is shown red.
At the very least, Mason should have been advised to consult his pitch-side monitor.
Two weeks ago, everyone accepted Andreas Christensen deserved red for pulling back Liverpool‘s Sadio Mane, even though Chelsea‘s goalkeeper was close to the situation.

With no covering defenders, Luiz should have gone. Later in the game, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was caught in a challenge by Sander Berge.
Yellow was the right call. Berge’s point of contact was on Aubameyang’s foot, but there was no malice in his attempt to win the ball.
