‘Hayley’s a hypocrite!’ Fans slam the Married At First Sight star and label her apology to Stacey Hampton as insincere after she kisses her ‘husband’ Michael Goonan
Married At First Sight fans turned on Hayley Vernon during Wednesday’s episode, after she apologised to Stacey Hampton for kissing her husband, Michael Goonan.
Hayley, 32, and Michael, 28, had apparently enjoyed a steamy kiss during a drunken night out while Stacey, 26, was at home in Adelaide with her two young children.
‘Did you hook up with my husband?’ Stacey asked her, point blank.

After pausing for moment, Hayley admitted: ‘Yes. I hooked up with Michael. I kissed him.’
Describing it as ‘a pretty terrible thing to happen’, Hayley told Stacey she felt ‘so bad’ and acknowledged that there was nothing she could say to ‘make it better’.
But her admission only left fans furious, with many accusing Hayley of refusing to take responsibility for what happened.

‘Hayley… ever the victim, never at fault! Train wreck like no other!!’ tweeted one viewer, while another added, ‘Hayley doesn’t even look sorry’.
‘Hayley is… The WORST kind of person,’ tweeted one MAFS fan, while another commented, ‘So Hayley is taking no responsibility for her part in this’.
‘Hayley’s going to turn this all around to make sure she comes out as the victim,’ added another, while someone else wrote, ‘You’re not the victim in any way, Hayley. Stop talking.’

Others slammed the reality star after she urged the other brides to make a pact they wouldn’t interfere in anyone else’s marriage.
