Married At First Sight fan favourite Josh Pihlak has lost his job as a truck driver due to the coronavirus pandemic.

On Thursday, the 28-year-old confirmed that he was spending the day updating his resume so he could find work.

Earlier this week, Josh announced on Instagram that he and some of his co-workers had been laid off due to the effects of the coronavirus.

 ‘Well there goes our jobs,’ he wrote alongside a photo of himself and his co-workers on their last day at work.

‘If any one’s got any work going let us an the boys know. I don’t want it to come to selling teeth whitening kits.’

The post received an outpouring of support from other MAFS stars, with season five villain Dean Wells commenting: ‘That sux mate. So sorry.’
