Matt Damon has been in Australia since the start of the year, as he shoots his role in Marvel’s Thor: Love and Thunder, currently being filmed in Sydney.
While the Hollywood superstar, 50, and his family have based themselves in the seaside town of Byron Bay, NSW, on Friday they ventured to Sydney for a visit to Taronga Zoo.
Matt, his wife Luciana, 45, and their daughters, Alexia, 22, Isabella, 14, Stella, 10, travelled to the zoo by boat and visited various animal enclosures.

Matt looked relaxed as he accompanied his family to the iconic zoo, which sits on Sydney Harbour, with the five blending in with the other tourists.
The Bourne Identity actor wore a simple navy blue shirt with a pair of olive cargo pants.
He covered up his famous face with a pair of sunglasses, and wore a blue cap on his head.

Luciana spent a stack of $50 bills from the ATM, and, before they all boarded a boat back to the city, after Matt zoo tipped staff $50 each.

Matt is in Australia reprising his comedic cameo from the 2017 Thor installment, Thor: Ragnarok.
He portrayed an Asgardian actor who is portraying the character Loki, normally played by Tom Hiddleston, in a theatrical production which takes place within the film.
