Maya Jama boogies in her bikini on a solo trip to Dubai amid claims she could replace Caroline Flack

She’s been named as a potential candidate to step into the shoes of Caroline Flack and host the forthcoming debut winter series of Love Island.

But Maya Jama paid no attention to rumours of a lucrative new TV gig as she posted a series of videos from her solo holiday to Dubai on Tuesday.

The presenter, 25, slipped into a sporty white bikini as she boogied in her hotel room amid confirmation that Caroline, 40, has stepped down from her role after being charged with assault last week.

The brunette opted for minimal make-up to highlight her natural beauty, before teaming her tiny bralet with a pair of light-wash jeans.

Maya continued to strike a series of playful poses as she swayed to Kiss And Tell by AJ Tracey and Skepta.

In the romance department, Maya split from rapper Stormzy after a four-year romance – moving out of their apartment in August.

The award-winning musician, 26, issued an apology in his emotional new track, Lessons, last week.

In the song, the Thornton Heath native confessed to ‘disrespecting’ and being ‘inconsiderate’ towards his ex, who loved him ‘wholeheartedly,’ and said the way he treated her before their split in August was his ‘biggest of regrets.’

On Friday, Stormzy spoke on BBC Radio 1Xtra Breakfast Show about the emotional break-up track Lessons.

He said: ‘That’s something we shared and it’s on a public forum, everything happened so publicly.

‘It was a hot topic and I’m going on record now and I’m apologising. I’m trying to lay it all bare and be very truthful and be very clear in my truth. I’m not trying to shy away from it. It was a public disrespect. It was a public disrespect that needed a public apology.’

He continued: ‘That girl gave me the world. I will wholeheartedly say that’s a phenomenal woman that loved man wholeheartedly and was man’s everything.

‘And I disrespected and was inconsiderate – a big disrespect. The least I can do is come out and say, come on.

‘I will say it 100 per cent loud and clear that’s a brilliant woman – we shared something very deep and she loved me wholeheartedly. And man went out and disrespected.’
