Miley Cyrus is ‘happy’ for Liam Hemsworth as he moves on with Gabriella Brooks

Liam Hemsworth debuted his new girlfriend, Gabriella Brooks, in December during a lunch date with his parents in Byron Bay.

And his ex-wife, Miley Cyrus, is reportedly pleased he has found love again after their divorce was finalised in January.

According to Entertainment Tonight, the 27-year-old pop star, who has since moved on with Australian singer Cody Simpson, ‘just wants Liam to be happy’.

A insider source told the publication Miley and Liam had different priorities in their relationship, but still wanted the best for each other.  

‘She knows how important love and marriage are for him, but she just needed her independence,’ the source said.

They added: ‘Miley and Liam have moved on and it seems they’re both where they most want to be in life.’ 

According to OK!, Liam wants to become a father in the not too distant future.  

‘He wants kids and doesn’t want to keep putting it off,’ a source told the magazine.

Back in May last year, Liam told GQ that he hoped to have ’10, 15, maybe 20′ children with his then-wife, pop star Miley Cyrus. 

The pair called it quits in August 2019 after just seven months of marriage. Their divorce was finalised in January.

Liam and Gabriella, 21, were first spotted together in mid-December during a lunch date with Liam’s parents, Craig and Leonie, in Byron Bay.

Miley and her 23-year-old beau Cody are self isolating together in Los Angeles amid the coronavirus pandemic. It is believed Liam and Gabriella are also self distancing together at the actor’s home in Phillip Island.
