Montana Brown sizzles in barely-there bikini… as she reflects on her ‘toughest year yet’

She found herself launched into the spotlight back in 2017 while starring on the third series of Love Island

And proving she still knows how to work a bikini, Montana Brown looked sensational as she stripped down to a very skimpy two-piece on Instagram on Monday.

The brunette beauty, 24, ensured all eyes were on her as she flaunted her incredibly gym-honed body while posing up a storm in her swimwear – just weeks after admitting to fans 2019 has been her ‘toughest year yet’.

Montana, who has launched her own swimwear range, Swim Society, since starring on ITV2’s much-loved dating show, sizzled in the burgundy design that made sure to highlight her enviable physique.

Her bikini top featured double tie-up straps at the back and a daring cut-out at the bust that teased a look at her cleavage, while leaving her washboard stomach firmly on display.

It was teamed with a pair of scanty briefs that tied together at the hips and left little to the imagination, thanks to a racy high cut at the back that emphasised the reality star’s peachy behind.

Posing in a shower, Montana put on a sultry display as she ran her hands through her wet locks, joking alongside her photo: ‘tough day at the office today,’ while tagging her swimwear brand in her caption.

Another photo, shared to Montana’s Instagram story, saw the fashionista posing topless while enjoying a bubble bath. She teased: ‘I’m going to need one of these baths in my house @ruddingparkhotel.’

Her eye-popping posts comes after Montana candidly opened up to fans on the social media platform, earlier this month.

Reflecting on the past year, Montana admitted that 2019, which saw her Love Island co-star and close friend Mike Thalassitis pass away, has been her ‘toughest year yet’ and she explained how she hadn’t been in a ‘good place mentally’.

In a lengthy statement, Montana said: ‘WARNING soppy Sunday post. So this year started off very s**t, I really didn’t feel myself, I was not in a good place mentally, I felt like I’d lost myself and wasn’t quite sure what I was doing with my life and I felt very alone.

‘I wasn’t happy with the way I looked, I felt inadequate and I felt like I was a s**t person. This has been the toughest year for me, and I’ve definitely learnt a lot of things about the way I handle things.’

Montana continued: ‘I am unfortunately a person that is not good at admitting when I’m upset or sad, I try to pretend I’m fine and happy. When actually I wasn’t, I was miserable.

‘I wanted the world to swallow me up and I got pretty good at pretending everything was fine. Which is quite hypocritical as all I go on about [is] talking to people about how you feel…’

Montana, who has openly addressed mental health following Mike’s death – he took his own life in March 2019 prompting criticism of Love Island’s aftercare for contestants, went on to say that she now feels ‘stronger than ever’ and thanked those who reached out to her with their support.

‘Now, I feel stronger than ever, I feel so much better in myself and have come to terms with the fact it’s OK to be sad, it’s OK to share your problems with people and that doesn’t make you a weak person and I am definitely not invincible,’ she wrote.

‘This year I have become a more grateful and appreciative person and through bad experience especially with death it teaches you that life can be short, you never know what’s round the corner and you can’t change what happens.

‘What you can change, is how you treat other people and how you treat yourself. You are the only person that is responsible for your happiness, and by caring and loving yourself means you can spread the love and give more to others,’ she concluded.

‘I am so excited for Christmas, the year has nearly ended and I’m so happy about so many things and I feel very lucky to be alive and thriving.

‘Thank you to everyone who helped me through this year I will never forget those people who showed me just what amazing people they are.’

Offering her followers some words of wisdom to take into 2020, Montana advised: ‘Spend your time trying be the best person you can be, loss will only make you more understanding and more human and appreciate and cherish the people around you as you never know when they will be gone.’
