A creative mother has transformed the cupboard underneath her stairs into a magical Disney-themed hideout for her daughter.
Ami Watts, from Birmingham, took to the Facebook group DIY On A Budget to reveal how she was able to turn the unoccupied space in her home into a cosy snug for her daughter Ashleigh.
The DIY enthusiast, whose creation featured Disney-themed wallpaper, a door bell and a chalk board, told social media users: ‘My daughter’s new favourite place to be. Her very own little snug.’

A step inside the enchanting fairytale retreat revealed a desk for her daughter, fairy lights, Disney wall stickers and a selection of stationery.
Following the post, which has since received more than 7,000 views on social media, users applauded the imaginative mother for her creative efforts.
One user wrote: ‘That’s beautifully done, very lucky little girl.’
Another member of the group commented: ‘That is lovely. I would have been in heaven as a child.’

Taking to Facebook to respond to the comments Ami wrote: ‘Ohh wow, what a response. Thanks everyone.
‘My daughter absolutely loves it. She has a phone, door bell and chalk board. Just need to sort our her curtains for the door.’
