One lucky Australian has become the nation’s newest millionaire after winning $1.1million – but three days later the lucky punter has still not been found.

The ticket was bought at a Winston Hills Newsagency in Western Sydney, but officials have no way of contacting the individual as the entry is unregistered.

The lucky recipient is one of five division one winning entries in the April 17 draw, with each player now $1,145,653.60 richer.

Newsagency worker Barbara Veitch said she was excited that her store had sold a winning ticket.  

‘We would love to know who our winner is. I certainly hope they come forward soon,’ she said.   

The Lott spokeswoman Lauren Cooney said was eager to unite the mystery winner with their million dollar prize.

‘We’re urging all players who purchased a Saturday Lotto ticket from Winston Hills Newsagency to check their tickets today,’ she said. 

‘It’s likely this winner has been going about their day as normal with no idea they’ve just won $1.1 million.’ 

The winning numbers for Saturday April 17 were 5, 33, 17, 13, 44 and 38, while the supplementary numbers were 22 and 35.
