New Nottingham Forest boss Chris Hughton wants reunion with Anthony Knockaert by signing Fulham winger on loan  

  • New Forest manager Hughton previously worked with Knockaert at Brighton
  • The 28-year-old winger joined Fulham from Brighton for £10m this summer
  • He has not featured in Fulham’s opening four games in the Premier League 

Fulham winger Anthony Knockaert is a loan target for Nottingham Forest. 

New manager Chris Hughton previously worked with Knockaert at Brighton

The 28-year-old joined Fulham from Brighton for £10million this summer following a successful loan last season, when he helped the London club clinch promotion to the Premier League via the Championship play-off final.

Fulham winger Anthony Knockaert (above) is a loan target for Nottingham Forest.

However, Knockaert has not featured in Fulham’s opening four games in the Premier League this season 

That could open the door to a switch to the Championship side, with the Premier League-to-EFL window open until October 16. 

Derby, Watford and Middlesbrough are among the clubs interested in Chelsea left back Baba Rahman.

Meanwhile, Watford are to hold talks over a contract extension for former Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley.
