Oleksandr Usyk ACCEPTS Tyson Fury’s condition of a 70/30 purse split for their undisputed heavyweight showdown in April… on the condition the Brit donates £1million to Ukraine ‘immediately after the fight’
Oleksandr Usyk has accepted Tyson Fury‘s terms for their undisputed heavyweight bout on April 29 on the condition the Brit makes a donation to Ukraine.
Fury posted a video to social media on Friday claiming that the Ukrainian and his team are worth no more than a 70/30 purse split in his favour and insisted he would drop his offer by one per cent every day until the deal is signed.
Usyk has wasted no time in responding as he also took to social media to accept the offer on the condition that Fury donates £1million to Ukraine after the fight, amid their ongoing war with Russia.
He said: ‘Hey, Greedy Belly. I accept your off of a 70-30 split to fight on April 29 at Wembley.
‘But you will promise to donate £1million to the people of Ukraine immediately after the fight.

‘And for every day you delay you will pay one per cent of your purse to the Ukrainian people. Deal?’
In a video also posted on Instagram, Fury said Usyk and his team ‘are worth 30 per cent, and that he should fight Daniel Dubois at the Copper Box if he doesn’t accept.
Finally breaking silence on the hold up in negotiations, The Gypsy King said: ‘I see all this talk of boxing fights, they want 50 per cent, Tyson’s being greedy and all this.
‘But from where I’m standing, Usyk, you and your team are worth 30 per cent. You either take it, or you leave it.
‘If you don’t want it, go and fight Daniel Dubois at the Copper Box and get a few million dollars. You wanna make some real money? Then come and fight the Gypsy King.
‘From every day from today that you linger and mess around, I’m going to deduct one per cent from the 30 per cent.
‘Every day I’m going to deduct one per cent until you take it. And if you don’t take it, fight Dubois for £2million. Not a problem.
‘But how in the hell could you ever offer me a deal. Not possible. Tick tock, tick tock p***ies.’

Usyk twice defeated Anthony Joshua to claim the WBO, WBA and IBF heavyweight titles, while Fury is WBC champion. No boxer in history has ever held all four belts simultaneously.
The two fighters were initially set to face off in Saudi Arabia, a venue which no doubt would have brought a lucrative payday for both boxers.
Yet, after talks with the Gulf State broke down, London has emerged the most-likely host city – and Fury is clearly eager to pocket as much of the purse as possible.
