Paris Hilton shocked her fans on Thanksgiving when she announced she had welcomed a baby girl named London.
Taking to Instagram, the mother-of-two shared the surprising news as she posted a pink baby outfit with the name ‘London’, revealing the gender and name of her new baby.
While her daughter shares a first name with England’s capital city, the baby’s full name is London Marilyn Hilton Reum.
This is her second child with husband Carter Reum, 42, after the pair welcomed their son Phoenix via surrogate in January.

It seems the model had her mind set on the unusual name for quite some time after revealing she actually decided on the name 10 years ago.
Talking on a live chat episode of her podcast back in March, she said she had picked out the name London if she ever had a daughter over 10 years ago.
‘I’m really excited for Phoenix to have a baby sister one day—named London. It’s my favourite city and I’ve always wanted to name my daughter London,’ she said.
‘I had actually picked that name for a long time now, probably over 10 years. I always wanted London. I love that name for my daughter,’ she added.
She also told Ellen DeGeneres on her show back in 2022 that she had her daughter’s name planned.
She explained: ’The girl is gonna be named London Marilyn Hilton Reum.
‘Marilyn after my grandmother and London because it’s my favourite city and I think Paris and London sound cute together.’
Yet fans were also sent into a frenzy on Friday after they unearthed one of Paris’ old tweets which seemed to suggest another meaning for the little one’s name.

And now she has named her own daughter London, in a comical full circle moment.
After she shared her newborn’s name, fans went wild for her old post in which she said: ‘What is on your mind?’. She then penned:’ That London Tipton is basically me.’
The Suite Life… is set at the Tipton, which London’s father owns – pretty similar to the DJ’s upbringing.
London comes off as a very lovely and caring girl; however, she is quite spoiled and not always the sharpest tool in the box.
While Paris maybe nice and caring, there is no question that she is much brighter than the character played on Disney’s iconic sitcom.
In awe of the realisation, one user penned: ‘The fact that London Tipton from the suite life was based on Paris and now her baby’s name is London’.

Paris also wanted to keep the theme of cities running in her children, as her son is named after Phoenix in Arizona.
She previously said: ‘It was hard to pick (Phoenix) because a lot of the cities that I like just wouldn’t sound good as a name.
‘Like Ibiza would be so weird as a kids’ name, Vegas would be weird. It’s difficult to find a cool name that’s a city for a boy. Besides London, (because) that works for both,’ she said.
