Patrick Vieira looks set to become the new manager of Crystal Palace, after reports suggested he had agreed terms with the Selhurst Park outfit.

The former Arsenal and Manchester City midfielder left his role with Ligue 1 outfit Nice last year but appears to be set for a return to the dugout in England.

According to The Athletic, verbal agreements are in place between the two parties, with formal signatures expected to follow at some point on Tuesday. 

The appointment will bring to an end the search for a new boss at Selhurst Park, after talks with both Nuno Espirito Santo and Lucien Favre broke down.
