Pete Davidson looked in good spirits as he hung out with friends at the Brooklyn Nets v New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Sunday.
The comedian, 26, was all smiles as he hung out with fellow Saturday Night Live star Cecily Strong and another pal as his ex Ariana Grande performed at the Grammys.
During her performance, the singer, 26, took off an ‘engagement ring’ from her finger and placed it into a box, which many thought was a nod to Pete.

The symbolic moment, which came at the end of Ariana’s performance, was seen as a metaphor for her moving on from their brief engagement, which partially inspired the breakup anthem Thank U, Next.
Pete went for a laid back look for his day at the game, sporting a white printed t-shirt which he paired with blue jeans and a black hoodie.
Cecily donned a white cardigan along with blue skinny jeans, while she added height to her frame with a pair of ankle boots.
Ariana’s performance was the talk of social media with fans speculating on what the significance of her removing the ring was.

Along with the theory about Pete, others saw it as her moving on from the Thank U, Next era, as she bought a ring for herself and six of her friends (hence the track 7 Rings).
She appeared to confirm that theory when she responded ‘yes’ to a fan who tweeted: ‘so.. do we end this era tonight..?’
Ariana received five nominations at Sunday’s awards show, including Album of the Year for Thank U, Next, but missed out on the trophies.
Pete has dated a string of famous women including Ariana, Kate Beckinsale and most recently, model Kaia Gerber.

It comes after Pete joked about the interest in his love life during an episode of Saturday Night Live in December.
Weekend host Colin Jost asked if he was dating anybody, and while he didn’t mention Kaia Gerber by name, Pete vented about how people hate him for dating famous women, while also hinting at a rehab stint over the holidays.
When Colin asked if Pete was dating anyone, he said, ‘Yeah, it’s not fair, Colin. You get to date a famous woman and everyone’s delighted,’ referring to his relationship with Scarlett Johansson.
‘But when I do it, the world wants to punch me in the throat,’ Pete added, referring to his then-relationship with Kaia Gerber, and past relationships with Ariana Grande and Kate Beckinsale.

‘If I’m your type of guy that your daughter or mother is into, then trust me, I’m the best case scenario. There are a million guys who look like me and I’m the only one who has a job,’ Pete joked.
He said: ‘It’s like me, or Tyga,’ referring to the rapper and ex-boyfriend of Kylie Jenner, before adding that he, ‘can’t believe you let me do this during the Eddie Murphy episode.’
‘So many fans being reminded why they stopped watching,’ he joked, as Colin said a lot of people remember him for being the youngest cast member to join SNL since Eddie Murphy, joining in 2014 at the age of 20.

Kaia reportedly ended her romance with Pete just three months after they first began dating.
A source told Page Six: ‘It looks like Pete and Kaia are over. It got very overwhelming for Kaia. Pete has a certain M.O. and he’s very intense to his girlfriends. Kaia is only 18 and it’s a lot to deal with.’
Pete was first spotted leaving Kaia’s apartment in late October, and the two have made several romantic outings since.
The relationship quickly drew controversy, as Pete had only split with actress Margaret Qualley a week before, and Gerber had only turned 18 in September.
