Phoebe Burgess has urged her fans to get in touch with their families, even if they’re separated by lockdown. 

The 31-year-old lit a candle to ‘take a trip down memory lane’ on Monday night, sharing a photo of the moment to Instagram. 

In the image, the former journalist hovered over a beautifully decorated table at at her family’s estate in Bowral, New South Wales.

Among the glassware and hand-picked flowers, the mother-of-two placed her scented candle. 

She wrote of the moment: ‘Lighting a [Glasshouse candle] is always a little trip down memory lane.

‘When I was a little girl, with blonde curls, cheeky dimples and little overalls covered in mud, my mother used to tell me she loved me to the moon and back.

‘And now I whisper in my blonde-curly-haired, cheeky dimpled daughter’s ear that I love her to the moon and back, twice! These are the memories, the moments and the feelings I cherish most in the world.’ 

She added: ‘Mother’s Day is one more chance I get to remind mum how much I love her. To the moon and back.  

‘While we might feel a sense of disconnect in the world at the moment, it’s even more important to take the chances to tell those faces that while brunch or dinner might be cancelled, love is not cancelled’.

The blonde beauty accompanied the caption with several photos of herself posing in an all-beige ensemble in the gardens of her family’s home.
