Her blonde hair were styled in an impeccable short bob which bounced with aplomb as she advanced.

She wore little makeup, with just the right touch of mascara and blush to complement her natural glow.

The mother-of-four seemed relaxed as she walked through the hospital alongside her husband, stopping to speak with carers and hospital staff who were waiting along the corridors.

Mathilde appeared to take her time to get acquainted with the frontlines worker in attendance on one side of the corridor while her husband, looking elegant in a grey suit, talk to the ones on the other side.

The couple heard how the hospital has been managing the Covid-19 crisis and how staff managed their patient capacity at the height of the pandemic.

They met with staff from different departments around the hospital to get a sense of just how much the structure had been affected.

Later, they visited the Defense Intermediate Hospital Capacity unit, a wing of the hospital where military personnel are looking after Covid patients who do not require intensive care.

The visit is the latest the royal couple have made as they make their way around the country to meet with  medical staff to learn more about the crisis.
