Fast forward some 16 years, and Rachel McAdams was spotted, casually dressed, while out taking care of some errands in Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon.
The sighting comes one day after she attended the Variety x Armani Makeup Artistry Dinner, where she got to honor younger sister Kayleen McAdams for her work as a celebrity makeup artist.

The Canadian native, 41, opted for casual comfort for her afternoon jaunt in dark denim jeans and a pink dress shirt.
She also wore black sneakers, dark sunglasses and had her dyed blonde tresses styled long, but pushed back off her face, and a part on the slight left.
While crossing a busy intersection, the actress had a purse slung over her left shoulder as she held on tightly to what appears to be a hoodie and a bottle of some sort of beverage.

The night before, McAdams looked chic in a double-breasted herringbone suit with flared bottoms at the Variety x Armani Makeup Artistry Dinner in West Hollywood.
Her pink and gray tartan outfit featured prominent peaked lapels and a relaxed set of slacks that nearly covered up her pointy crimson heels.
The 5ft 4in Game Night star matched her suits red buttons to her red velvet clutch, and she wore her caramel-colored locks in gentle waves resting over her shoulders.
