The MLS club confirmed the departure of boss Guillermo Barros Schelotto on Thursday – and Keane is in the running to replace him.
The former Republic of Ireland international is widely recognised as one of LA Galaxy’s greatest ever players – scoring 83 goals in 125 goals appearances.
