SAS Australia’s Mark ‘Billy’ Billingham EXPLODES at Dan Ewing after the Home and Away star tries to ‘weasel out’ of responsibility for failing his pressure test
The pressure is indeed building for the season two recruits of SAS Australia.
On Tuesday night, the five remaining celebrities were made to recreate an intense driving situation, negotiating obstacles, gunfire and even explosions while transporting a ‘VIP’ to a safe point.
However when Dan Ewing neared the end of the challenge, his nerves appeared to get the best of him and the Home and Away actor froze.

Rather than ramming through a blockade to finish the challenge, the 35-year-old slammed on the brakes.
With Birmingham screaming at him and with ‘gunfire’ coming from assailants at the rear of the vehicle, Ewing seemed to panic and put the vehicle in reverse.
Birmingham quickly put an end to the challenge, but it was far from over.

Rather than admit his mistake, Ewing went on to tell the other recruits he was reversing the vehicle to ‘build momentum’ so that he could ram through the checkpoint.
After hearing of Dan’s ‘bragging,’ Birmingham hauled the recruit in for interrogation.
Dan initially denied he was ’embarrassed’ that he was the only recruit to fail the challenge, but Birmingham wasn’t having it.
‘Stop! Stop!’ he screamed at the clearly startled actor, while slamming his palm on the table.

‘You’re really annoying me now,’ the ex-military man told the soap star.
The yelling was so loud that the other recruits heard it through the wall, with Jana Pittman even putting her boots in alarm.
Billingham didn’t mince words when he told Dan his lack of accountability was ‘really p**sing me off’.

However Dan still didn’t seem to get it, downplaying the encounter with the other recruits when he returned to his quarters.
‘I think he was a little confused,’ he said of Billingham’s reaction.
‘When I was explaining what I was trying to do [during the challenge] he thought that was me trying to weasel out,’ explained Ewing.
‘I said I made a mistake,’ said Dan, seemingly bending the truth of the situation once more.
