Selma Blair models boots that read VOTE on the sides as she urges followers to do their part in the 2020 elections: ‘It’s about that time’

Selma Blair took to Instagram on Tuesday give her 2.4M followers a very direct message about the importance of voting in the upcoming November election.

The 48-year-old Cruel Intentions star modeled a pair of over-the-knee black boots that had the words ‘VOTE’ down the side.  

‘Voting in style. But just VOTE. The iconic 50/50 boot from @stuartweitzman in collaboration with @iamavoter. it’s about that time…’ said the star in her caption.

Selma posed in an all black ensemble, putting her statement boots on display as she sat in her driveway with her leg facing the camera.

Completing the edgy look, she wore tight fitting Spandex leggings with a cropped classic leather motorcycle jacket that highlighted her long legs. 

She looked every bit the 90s icon as she wore her dark choppy hair natural with just a swipe of red lipstick.

The black leather boots are part of a collaboration between fashion powerhouse Stuart Weitzman and I Am A voter, a public awareness campaign that promotes voting and civic engagement. 

Weitzman’s classic ’50/50 Vote boot’ is a limited edition drop that plans to donate all of the profits to the vote-centric organization. The brand’s standard 5050 boot have long been a coveted staple for celebrities and shoppers alike. 

The boots however do not run cheap – one pair costs $695 – but undoubtedly for an important cause.

Recently the mother to nine-year-old Arthur Saint Bleick has been healthy and spending a lot of time with her family. 

Selma and her ex-husband, stylist Jason Bleick, 50, who shares custody of Arthur, all went to the beach for a family retreat over the past weekend.
