Sergio Aguero is OUT of Manchester City’s FA Cup semi-final with Chelsea as Pep Guardiola confirms the striker is still struggling with a muscle injury

Sergio Aguero has been ruled out of Manchester City‘s FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea on Saturday.

Aguero, who is leaving the club at the end of the season, is still struggling with a muscular problem and Pep Guardiola has confirmed Saturday’s clash has come too early for him.  

Asked if the Argentinian would be available for the trip to Wembley, Guardiola said: ‘No, not yet.’

Aguero will be the only notable absentee from the match with no fresh injury concerns for Guardiola following his side’s memorable Champions League quarter-final win over Borussia Dortmund in midweek.
