  • The Mitsubishi Pajero Sports was taken from Morley, Perth on Saturday night
  • It’s understood Joseph’s parents had left key in ignition while they entered home
  • WA Police Force said on Sunday morning that Joseph was found ‘safe and well’ 

A seven-year-old boy who was kidnapped by a car thief who stole his family’s Mitsubishi Pajero from their driveway has been found safe and well. 

Joseph Eaton was inside his family’s car when it was stolen from Napier Street in Morley, Perth at about 8.40pm on Saturday. 

It’s understood his parents had left the key in the ignition while they went inside their home for a brief moment only to come out and see the vehicle had disappeared, according to The West Australian.

WA Police Force revealed on Sunday morning that Joseph was found ‘safe and well’. 

‘Many thanks to the community for their assistance,’ the force tweeted.
