Shopper orders incredible festive wreath for her home

Shopper orders a ‘beautiful’ $9 festive wreath for her home – but the ‘bizarre’ item that arrives is very different to what she expected

  • A mum-of-three has shared a photo of the very disappointing wreath she got
  • She ordered the wreath off Shein and was excited for it to arrive to her home
  • When it did arrive it was much smaller than she had thought it would be

A mum-of-three has been left disappointed after the ‘dreamy’ Christmas wreath she ordered arrived looking very different to the photo.

The tiny wreath looked nothing like the fluffy, snow-covered decoration the mum thought she was buying from online giant, Shein.

The mum, from the UK, posted pictures of the $9 wreath from the website and the one she received side-by-side in the ‘what I asked for Vs what I got’ group on Facebook.

And this was the one she received

A busy mum-of-three has been left disenchanted after she was delivered a very disappointing wreath to hang on her door for Christmas

‘I waited three weeks for this to arrive,’ she wrote, bitterly.

‘I think they took the picture from a different website,’ she laughed.

And it struck a nerve, hundreds of people offered their support with sad reactions, while dozens of others gave suggestions in the comments.

‘The one you wanted looks so photoshopped – that’s so sad,’ one woman said.

Others simply laughed, which the mum appreciated.

‘I laughed way too much,’ one woman said.

‘Me too, that’s why I have to keep it,’ the mum wrote.

Poll

Do you think the size of the wreath matters?

  • Yes, it was exaggerated too much! 82 votes
  • No, it is cute! 10 votes

One of the key issues with the wreath came down to its size – with the shopper expecting something much bigger than the tiny ‘twig’ she received.

‘Oh man I guess you could put it on your dog house or like a hamster enclosure,’ one woman laughed.

‘It’s low key so cute because it’s so teeny tiny,’ said another woman.

‘Are you sure it isn’t one of those ‘place in water and watch it grow things?’ one woman asked.

Others suggested it could be a year-round wreath because it ‘doesn’t exactly scream Christmas’.

‘No one will know, how will they know,’ laughed another.

Some people suggested she use it as a candle place holder while others said she could buy a mini Santa village and stocking to make it fit in.

The wreath has over 100 reviews on the retailer’s website, with most people rating it between four and five stars.

‘Now this is very pretty but very small as compared to the pictures they have uploaded.. and very flaky too,’ one person said, before leaving five stars.

One shopper said the wreath is only the size of a ‘tortilla wrap’ but was very cute.

Another person sensationally wrote: ‘Exactly as on the picture, true to the size.’
