A Sky News presenter has been praised for being ‘unflappable’ after carrying on a broadcast while a car narrowly avoided reversing into her.
Correspondent Becky Johnson, from Wochestershire, was prepared to carry on with her news piece in Knighton, Powys, despite a car reversing onto the road just inches behind her.
Footage of the near-miss showed a news presenter in the studio ask ‘Becky. How’s it looking’ as the camera panned to Ms Johnson.
When the white car immediately reversed into shot he added: ‘There’s a car reversing behind you.’

She said: ‘I know I am just trying not to get knocked over actually. But yeah, apart from that.’
The unshakeable presenter went on to continue her newscast as if nothing out of the ordinary had happened.
Impressed viewers praised Ms Johnson for being ‘unflappable’ despite almost getting knocked down by a car while live on air.
Kit Bradshaw said: ‘as unflappable as always.’
Robert Mawdsley was less impressed. He wrote: ‘She could try not standing in the middle of the road!’

It comes after the Welsh Government asked for more support from Westminster to protect jobs and businesses ahead of a possible two-week circuit-break lockdown.
Vaughan Gething, the country’s health minister, said the furlough scheme ends on October 31 and will be replaced with a ‘less generous’ Job Support Scheme.
He told the BBC‘s Politics Wales show the Welsh Government is ‘arguing’ with ministers in London that a ‘more certain and more generous package’ is needed.
From November 1 the UK Government will pay 67 per cent of wages – up to a maximum of £2,100 a month – for each employee.
