Sophie Turner used to HATE the Jonas Brothers

Sophie Turner has admitted she used to hate her husband Joe’s band the Jonas Brothers because she blamed them for the break up of her favourite band, Busted.

The actress, 24, joked during an interview with ELLE that her friends believed the Jonas Brother’s cover of Busted’s song Year 3000 was the reason behind their split.

The Game Of Thrones star also admitted that she thought Joe would be a ‘d**k’ before they met and instantly clicked during a night out in Camden, London

LOL! Sophie Turner has admitted she used to hate her husband Joe’s band the Jonas Brothers because she blamed them for the break up of her favourite band, Busted

Discussing her husband’s band, she joked: ‘My friends and I were not Jonas Brothers fans. We liked Busted. They had a hit called Year 3000, it was amazing. We were huge fans.

‘Then the Jonas Brothers covered the song and made it massive, and Busted broke up. It was all the Jonas Brothers’ fault. So we hated them.’

Sophie, who is thought to be expecting Joe’s baby, also recalled her first impressions of her beau and admitted she wasn’t holding out much hope after being introduced by mutual friends.

She said: ‘I expected him to show up with security and everything. I thought he would be such a d**k. I took all my guy friends with me to meet him, because in the back of my mind I was worried he could be a catfish, or… I don’t know what. I just wanted my guy friends with me. I had my rugby boys. I was safe.’

Detailing their first evening together, she said: ‘The best thing was that he didn’t bring security. He brought a friend and they drank just as hard as the rest of us. I remember us two spending only a couple of minutes on the dance floor, and then we found a space in the far corner and we just talked.

‘We talked for hours, and hours, and hours. And I wasn’t bored. It wasn’t contrived, it wasn’t small talk – it was just so easy. Soon, we were inseparable. And then I went on tour with him.’

Sophie, who claims that she believes Joe is ‘way out of her league, first married the singer in a surprise wedding after the Billboard Music Awards in Sin City on May 1 before a more lavish affair in France on June 29.

Their DJ pal Diplo live-streamed the ceremony – without their permission – and showed the pair exchanging vows while an Elvis Presley impersonator officiated.

Word that the pair are starting a family first emerged back in February.

She said: 'I expected him to show up with security and everything. I thought he would be such a d**k. I took all my guy friends with me to meet him, because in the back of my mind I was worried he could be a catfish, or...'

‘The couple is keeping things very hush hush but their friends and famSily are super excited for them,’ revealed a source exclusively to Just Jared.

The news outlet broke the story on Turner’s ‘pregnancy’ and claimed the pair would welcome the child sometime in the summer months.

Another insider added at the time: ‘Sophie has decidedly been choosing outfits to wear on and off the carpet to accommodate her changing body.’

According to sources, kids have always been in the cards for the couple.
