Stacey Dooley dazzles in a silver glitterball dress at Strictly’s tour dress rehearsals

She is set to host the Strictly live tour, which kicks off on Thursday.

And Stacey Dooley stole the show as she posed with the cast of the 2019 series at the show’s dress rehearsal in Birmingham Arena on Wednesday.

Channeling the coveted glitterball, which Kelvin and Oti Mabuse lifted in the grande final, the television personality, 32, donned a sequinned silver maxi dress.

Having a blast: Stacey appeared in her element as she larked around with Dianne Buswell, 30, backstage

The floor-length dress sheathed her slender frame and featured puffball shoulders and a collared neckline.

Adding to her sparkly stage ensemble with gold diamante shoes, Stacey wore her ginger locks in a high plaited bun and finished off her look with a smoky black eye.

Dianne looked incredible in a plunging white dance costume, which was adorned with tassels and gold beaded detailing.

Luba Mushtuk and Karen Hauer showed off their leggy frames as they slipped into slightly different versions of the costume.

Ahead of the run-through, Stacey fuelled up on coffee before heading to the dress rehearsals.

The BBC star, who is dating Strictly pro Kevin Clifton, cut a casual figure in a grey tracksuit, black boots and Matrix-inspired sunglasses.

The documentary presenter opted to go make-up free as she headed to Birmingham Arena before undergoing glamorous makeover.

Catherine Tylesdey, 36, looked ready to dance as she arrived at the arena clad in gym-wear.

The actress wore a white zip-up hoodie, black leggings and bright pink Nike trainers.

Emma Barton, 42, meanwhile added a touch of designer to her otherwise casual outfit as she wrapped a Gucci grey scarf around her neck.
